Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hakan Haliloglu was born in 1975 in Ankara. He graduated from Ankara Kocatepe Mimar Kemal High School in 1993. After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1999, he started his urology specialty training at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology in 2000. In 2005, he became a urology specialist. He worked at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology since its establishment. He received the title of assistant professor, then associate professor in 2013 and professor in 2019. He is experienced in ROSI and mTese procedures.

Dr. Ahmet employs a comprehensive assessment process to determine the most suitable treatment approach for individuals diagnosed with azoospermia. This assessment involves a holistic review, which includes hormone tests, genetic assessments (such as Y chromosome microdeletion and Karyotype), scrotal ultrasound, physical examinations, patient medical history, and the examination reports from previous sperm retrieval surgeries. The treatment plan is highly individualized, with options that may encompass hormone therapy, testicular PRP, MicroTese followed by IVF, or the ROSI technique. Furthermore, the clinic performs semen analyses that can identify the spermatid stage, a pivotal factor in tailoring the treatment plan. In cases where even a single sperm is detected in the semen analysis, they employ sperm accumulation methods and request periodic sperm analyses over the course of a few days.
