Passionate about aiding others from a young age, Lorra brings a wealth of experience to the realm of social work. With a background as a Registered Social Worker, Lorra has demonstrated expertise across various settings and diverse populations, including hospitals and communities. Specializing in supporting adults dealing with mental health challenges, Lorra's career highlights a commitment to making a difference.

Having personally undergone a fertility journey and sought individual therapy during the process, Lorra deeply empathizes with the multifaceted nature of fertility struggles. Recognizing the emotional, mental, physical, financial, and relational toll it can take, Lorra firmly believes in the power of shared support during such trying times. Approachable and compassionate, Lorra's main objective is to empower clients, helping them unearth their inner resilience and confront life's obstacles.

Lorra employs a versatile range of therapeutic approaches, adeptly tailoring strategies to meet each client's specific needs. Whether drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Theory, or Mindfulness, Lorra focuses on a trauma-informed, strengths-based methodology. Within the context of fertility challenges, Lorra places considerable emphasis on psychoeducation to guide clients toward understanding and healing.

Lorra offers virtual sessions to Ontario and Nova Scotia residents, providing accessible support. For those in the Midland and Barrie area, in-person sessions can also be arranged with prior notice.
